Turks gain the right to vote and legally have their rights protected.
By forcing Turks to take a surname the government can now better track its people. Secularism prevents religious conflict and the adoption of the international system allows for easier trade. The law now treats everyone fairly regardless of religion and ethnicity. Children are required to go to school in order to learn. The new simpler alphabet made the literacy rate go from 8% to the current 94%. New highways allow for faster transportation and communication. Taxes are adjusted to be more fair and by introducing new farming techniques more food can be grown to feed the population. |
